Healthy Homemade Muesli
Ingredients
340g whole oats
1kg rolled oats
100g coconut thread
90g wheatgerm
160g sunflower seeds
170g flax seeds
170g sesame seeds
120g oat bran
1/4 - 1/3 cup canola oil
Variations
Add chopped raw fruit or berries for added sweetness
Serve with low-fat milk and/or unsweetened probiotic yoghurt
Directions:
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add the oil and mix thoroughly.
Microwave the mixture: A total of 15 minutes on high (900-watt microwave). Stir well every three to four minutes of cooking time.
Allow to cool and enjoy!
