Overwhelmed is a beautiful song from two of our most talented musicians, Vince Harder and Abby Lee. When their two-year-old daughter Presley was diagnosed at the height of COVID last year, the anguished parents found themselves working through some of their fear and pain in their shared love of music.

It tells a story that tens of thousands of parents across New Zealand can relate to – the incredible, overwhelming love of a parent for a child, the horror when that child falls seriously ill and the staggering first days of a diabetes diagnosis.

The video features several Type 1 children - tamariki and their whānau whose lives have been changed by diabetes, then changed again by a Continuous Glucose Monitor. It expresses our hope and our continuing advocacy for CGM to be funded - for everyone.
