The Kiwi Takeover is back for 2019.

Last year we took over Beyond Type 1’s social media channels and showed the world how we live beyond Type 1 diabetes in Aotearoa. In August 2019 we are doing it again but taking it further to include Beyond Type 2’s social medial channels as well.

BT1 has over 1 million followers on Facebook and is read in over 170 countries in multiple languages. They are leveraging the power of social media and technology, changing what it means to live with a chronic disease, while creating a global Type 1 community.

BT2, launched earlier this year, and hopes to radically change what it means to live with Type 2 diabetes. BT2 aims to unite the global community and empower everyone living with Type 2 to live beyond it.

As part of the Kiwi takeover, between 5-10 August we’ll share our stories on the Beyond Type 1 and Beyond Type 2 Instagram wall. This is a place for T1 & T2 Warriors to share their #LivingBeyond truth every day.
