Deed of Charitable Trust

The Diabetes New Zealand Deed of Charitable Trust was incorporated in June 2019. Following a consultation period, the membership endorsed the formation of a Charitable Trust at the Diabetes New Zealand Inc. AGM in November 2018.

Harmful Communications Policy

As a public organisation, Diabetes NZ welcomes robust feedback and seeks to have ongoing conversations with our community.  But we will not tolerate harmful communications - for example, abusive posts on social media, offensive comments and  harassment via email or text.

Privacy Policy

Diabetes NZ respects the confidentiality of the information we gather, and we are committed to upholding individual privacy. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that individual information and the dissemination of that information is protected from misuse or unauthorised disclosure. Our policy ensures that Diabetes NZ complies with obligations under the relevant privacy legislation (in particular the Privacy Act 2020) and any future amendments or changes.

Complaints

Diabetes NZ is committed to upholding the highest of standards. To ensure our organisation maintains these standards, we have a robust process in place to ensure complaints are dealt with confidentially, thoughtfully and in a timely manner.
