TRANS-TASMAN CLASH!

FABruary 2017 literally stepped it up another notch with the inaugural launch of the 2017 FABruary Stadium Stair Challenge at Mt Smart Stadium.

On the 1stFebruary, over 70 enthusiastic employees, members and sponsors of the Vodafone Warriors met before sun-rise at the Stadium to take part in a new FABruary challenge with a similar crew from the Gold Coast Titans preparing to take part over the ditch in Australia.

It was a battle of the stairs and the ‘team’ that completed the most cumulative steps over a 2 hour period took out the 2017 Stadium Stair Challenge.  The Vodafone Warriors crew came up trumps with over 600,000 steps completed during the 2 hour period, compared to the Titans 400,000.

The Challenge was all part of the promotion for FABruary 2017 encouraging people to make pledges in the area of food, beverages and physical activity during the month of February with Diabetes New Zealand being the nominated charity partner.

For more information on how to take your pledge (and it’s not too late to start today), go to www.fabruary.com.au– pledges are applicable in both New Zealand and Australia.
