We wish you a Happy 2009, the year of the 20th World Diabetes Congress.
1. Registration
Register at the early rate and save up to EUR 200. From now until 30 April 2009 you benefit from an exceptionally low rate and the widest choice of hotel rooms close to the congress centre.

The Invited Speakers programme will include interactive sessions and symposia with Prof. Juliana Chan, Prof. Thomas Danne, Dr. Chittaranjan Yajnik, Prof. Stephanie Amiel and Dr. Matthew Riddle.

Be part of a unique concert experience on Monday 19 October 2009 at 20.00 (8pm) at the Notre Dame Basilica Montréal. This masterpiece of Gothic revival architecture will open its doors for a private concert for the delegates of the 20th World Diabetes Congress. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful performance by the People’s Gospel Choir of Montréal. The music and dramatic interior of the Basilica will lift you off your feet.
Tickets are EUR 25 but there is limited seating. Please book early! The Basilica is located in walking distance from the Congress Centre and Old Montréal.

4. Easy accessibility
Do you worry about yet another remote congress centre in a foreign city and intricate and long commuting in crowded, poorly indicated buses and trains? Stop worrying:
The Palais de Congrès:
1. Is centrally located in Downtown Montreal
2. Is within walking distance from 50% of the contracted hotel rooms
3. Has its own Metro station/stop (Place D’Armes)
4. Is connected to the Montreal underground city
You’ll be provided with a 5-day travel card for the entire Montreal public transport system to further facilitate your movement during the congress.
